Bienvenue! Welcome Back 2016-17. Ms. Murrells-Allaway has changed the Library Blog Address

Sept. 11th, 2016.  I created a new blog because the web address of

parkviewelementarylibrary.blogspot.com is confusing to those who work with me at Bastion Elementary / École Élémentaire Bastion, Salmon Arm, BC, Canada.

Titles associated with the words Bastion+library+elementary were all taken, so I've gone with the address associated with my "library name" or "handle" The Ardent Librarian.

Thus, the NEW LIBRARY BLOG ADDRESS is

is "The Ardent Librarian" or http://ardentlibarian.blogspot.ca/

Come learn with me ...

All new posts will be at this new address.  Former favoured posts you liked you can search back at the old web site

Slowly, I will keep moving over the resources, and repost the favs, but not all of the posts.  Thanks for your patience.  Mme. M-A.

BC SPCA
Be Kind to Animals Month
  • Become an expert on pet care
  • Sign up for SPCA summer camp.
  • Read to Rover. Why not practice your reading aloud while spending some quality time with your cat, dog or small animal? Pets make great reading buddies, so long as they are comfortable sitting with you. Choose a book (the spring issue of Bark! has some great recommendations) and try it out!
  • Tell a friend about SPCA and what you have learned about animal care
  • Report animal abuse. If an animal needs help, tell the SPCA! The BC SPCA has an Animal Cruelty Reporting Hotline (1-855-622-7722). Post the number on your fridge and ask your parents to put it in their cell phones. Then, if you see an animal in distress*, you’ll know where to call.

Merci Mme Weir's classe pour la poésie

"Le parc Little Mountain" par la classe de Mme Weir, troisème année
À Little Mountain
On a touché
